Yes! You can safely receive massage during any point in your pregnancy. Trained under prenatal massage master, Kiera Nagle, we are knowledgeable in contraindications and cautions associated with prenatal work. Many folks purchase the three session package so they can receive this work throughout different stages of pregnancy and postpartum when different symptoms arrive (fatigue, low back pain, sciatica, round ligament pain, swelling).
You can see me up to your delivery date as long as you feel physically able to get to my space. During the final weeks of pregnancy we can move to a labor prep massage where we focus more on releasing tension around the pelvis and downward moving acupressure points. The cancellation policy does not apply to sessions booked within one week of your due date.
You can come in for lymphatic work right after surgery. I work on scars 6 weeks after surgery once incisions have fully healed.
If you want to focus on swelling we can work on self lymphatic massage anytime after surgery. If you want to focus on scar work it is best to wait 4-6 weeks.
